Analyst I worked as a Business Analyst for 25 years, I have University Degrees in Accounting, Management and Science. I am also certified by Microsoft in Excel and Access, and certified in VBA and EssBase. My long experience in accounting, data analysis and reporting allows me to rapidly understand the needs of my clients and my knowledge of the technology allows me to develop the optimal reporting process. Having tried to work with most reporting applications within major databases and ERP systems, having tried Crystal Report, I chose Excel. I chose to work with Excel because it is the best and the cheapest utility to develop reports whatever the source of the data (Essbase, JDE, SAP, Oracle, SQL Server and any old legacy system). I chose to work with Excel because it is the best way to share information over the Internet in a format that can be either read by a recipient or used to feed other reporting processes. I chose to work with Excel because the programming language within Excel (VBA) allows me to automate these time and money consuming analyzing and reporting tasks. VBA aloows me also to develop incredible applications, databse front-ends and back-ends. But I mainly chose to work with Excel because I can share my expertise with my clients allowing them to become self-sufficient. Nothing is hidden in my applications so they can maintain and modify them. My client call me back for new projects only. I work mostly on line (Internet and telephone).
